Jeffrey Deaver

Welcome back to my book or should I say authors’ reviews.
Today we will be covering Jeffrey Deaver. He has written many books with a few different characters. The one I prefer is Lincoln Rhyme, this character was a police officer who after a terrible accident is now a crime fighting paraplegic. His faithful side kick is Amelia Sachs is always on the run. These two make a great team and the dynamic of their relationship bring some human element into these stories. Like James Patterson, Jeffrey Deaver characters go through personal crisis while on the job. Their lives are not always stellar; there are times when the criminal element seems to have the upper hand and will get away, other times it seems to easy to catch this guy. That is until the next chapter when he/she slips away in the night not to be heard from again…Do these books always end with the bad guy going to jail? NO ! Sometimes as in life there is a twist and either they come up in another book or we are left wondering….Another of one of Jeffrey’s characters is Kathryn Dance she is a kinetics expert. Kinetics is the study of body language; this means when a person is telling you a story their body language may tell a different story. Like the other characters, Kathryn has issues in her private life, her husband was killed in auto accident and now she has 2 young children to raise by herself.
